Halswell Lights the Sky
Once again Halswell played host to a spectacular 16 minute 'Fireworks Extravaganza' on the front lawn in perfect weather conditions. Much of the firing was made up of new designs only recently available in the UK and the crowd were most appreciative of this.
Mulled wine, Mr Pyne's traditional hog roast, bugs and witches and Goathurst's pre-school Guy Fawkes effigy rounded off the event in true autumnal spirit. St Margaret's Hospice were on hand to promote their sterling work to the community through the sale of Christmas cards and a timely raffle.
