1950s Garden Fete
Saturday 5th September - 2pm to 5.30pm (Free Admission)
The sun didn't exactly shine, but then the rain didn't come either! The open day was a huge success with many people braving unsettled elements to come and support local churches and charities in their fundraising efforts. Cream teas sold out before close of play and the Steve Doig band treated visitors to a special medley of fifties tunes. Everyone seems to have a great time and St Hilda's Fellowship Reunion was another jewel in the day's events. More images will be available as visitors contribute their handiwork.
A big thank you to all the stall-holders and visitors who made it such a special day in this most dreary of summers. We're planning 2010 already!
